Israel Experience Europe
Striving to be active participants in the process of shaping both collective and individual Jewish identities, we offer our clients and partners a variety of programs and tours in Jewish Europe. These programs focus on examination and reflection of Jewish values, past, present and future. An educational, content-based visit to the historical landmarks of Jewish Europe makes for a transformative and inspiring experience for any Jewish traveler of any age.
Beginning a trip to Israel with days spent in Poland, Prague or any of our other European destinations is sure to add depth and meaning to an overall adventure through the Jewish pathways of ones identity…
These were made possible in part by a generous grant from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against German, Inc. Grant funds came from the reclaimed assets of German Jews who perished in the Holocaust, and are used to support programs that preserve the memory of the Jewish victims and educate future generations about the Shoah.
A trip in Poland serves as an educational voyage that explores tradition and modernity, unity and controversy, existence and destruction. The central focus of this program is learning of the Holocaust and the centrality of the mark it left on Jewish identity worldwide. Sites include the Jewish quarter in Krakow, Lublin, Warsaw – the greatest European Jewish center where graveyards tell of the rich and diverse Jewish lives whose traditions and stories were cut short. Also visited are the concentration camps and death camps of Plashow, Maidaneck, Treblinka, Auschwitz-Birkenau and the mass graves as well.
